Certifying Worker Skills through Labor Partnerships

The Right Combination with LIFT!

The Labor Institute for Training (LIFT), a non-profit community organization, is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the Communications Workers of America national training program, the CWA/NETT Academy. Together, we provide training and job readiness programs. The partnerships primary focus is to strengthen and credential worker's skills or prepare them to quickly re-enter the workplace if needed.

Technical Exploration and Certification

LIFT partners with CWA/NETT Academy to provide a host of on-line courses to allow the transitioning workforce to earn industry recognized certifications. In addition to Internetworking Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing, programs include ACT WorkKeys testing center and National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) provider for a portable credential to demonstrate workplace employability skills.
