IC3 is for those who want to pursue a career in IT or simply become more effective with technology. Digital literacy is the foundation of employability in today’s digital economy.
IC3 includes stackable credentials that can help learners obtain a set of skills that will remain with them throughout their employment journeys. These skills are useful as a stepping stone to a new or better job.
The training program contains three modules with an assessment after each module:
1) Computing Fundamentals provides a
foundational understanding of computer
hardware, software, operating systems,
peripherals, and troubleshooting.
2) Living Online develops skills to use the
Internet or work in a networked environment
and maximize communication, education,
collaboration, and social interactions in a safe
and ethical way.
3) Key Applications offers familiarity with the
most common features of spreadsheets, word
processing, presentation applications, and
“app culture”.
